COMPONENTS:

MESH FABRIC - Supplied in BLACK and DARK GREEN only. The mesh is heavy-duty, multi-woven high quality vinyl coated polyester. Durable through temperature extremes and resistant to UV deterioration, punctures and weave unraveling. However, if punctures do occur they are repairable. All seams are welded, thus eliminating the number one deteriorating factor, sown seams and hems . It has a 70% shade factor and slashes howling winds to a gentle breeze. Also, reduces rain penetration to a mist and eliminates interior snow buildup. The high quality and durability of this product is far superior to common shade cloth obtainable from supply warehouses.

SLIDE MECHANISM - A blend of two uniquely designed components. First, a high-strength aluminum rail engineered to provide a stable base for the slide, anodized for appearance and low maintenance. Secondly, a slide block constructed of polymer material environmentally stabilized to resist harsh sun and other weather extremes, including ultraviolet light. The blending of these two high-quality components with the galvanized slip connection tubes yields a slide mechanism that is self-lubricating and operates in a silky, noise-free manner and will continue to do so for a long period.

PULLEYS - 100% steel heavy-duty 2-1/2” pulleys with sealed bearings provides smooth running for the screen lifting mechanism. They handle the operation more efficiently and last much longer than a nylon pulley without bearings. Each pulley is mounted in a housing bracket for easy installation.

CORD - A high-tenacity filament polyester optimized to minimize stretch and maximize strength. The cord is abrasion and UV resistant with a 350 lb. break strength.

LIFT ROPE - 100% polypropylene Derby Rope. Strong, flexible and soft.

ATTACHMENT HARDWARE - Installation is simply and easily accomplished by the layman, only requiring a small selection of common hand tools. (as pictured on the INSTALLATION page)
